RIGGER:

We are currently working on “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” and "Green Lantern" in our Adelaide based office and are seeking talented and experienced Rigger to join our team.

In this role you will use your past film experience to create efficient rigs, with naturalistic movement, for anything from complex hero characters to simple props. You must be able to work in a team of animators, modellers and TDs, contributing your knowledge and experience to help produce the highest quality output.

Taking visual, verbal, and written briefs you will be responsible for creating an animation control system for the movement and deformation of characters and props. Taking ownership of your work, you will be able to modify your rigs, and adjust your workflow to meet the requirements of clients and supervisors alike.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create efficient, easy to use rigs to aid the animation process

- Create a poseable rig used for modelling and surfacing turntables

- Create a real time rig for use in animation scenes which can still hit key performance points

- Create a render rig that can be swapped out with the real time rig

- Must be able to adjust rigs to meet requests from clients and supervisors

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of 3 years experience with Maya in a feature film environment

- Experience rigging photo real creatures with complex cloth simulations
