Aura Cinematics is hiring creative associates for its Kolkata Studio. Join the creative space for the production of its maiden feature film KINDLED. As for the road runners, much to the studio’s delight, we welcome them to further strengthen our production of animated series.

Position Available for Kolkata

Layout Artist (High Priority)

The prospective candidate should have hands on experience in Concept Layout, with at least 5 to 8 yrs experience with a reputed organization. Exposures in realistic project(s) would be an added advantage.

BG Artist / Colouring Artist / Matte Painter(High Priority)

The prospective candidate should have hands on experience in background colouring, with at least 5yrs experience with a reputed organization. Exposures in realistic project(s) would be an added advantage.

Assistant Director

The prospective candidate should have film school background with at least 5 years of experience in 3D Animation Supervision. Experience in pre-production is an added advantage. Candidate should have excellent communication skills in English.

Technical Director

The prospective candidate should have 5 to 8 yrs experience in 2D shading in Maya. Candidate should have done at least one feature, through with all kind of simulations apart from usual proficiency in rigging, lighting, comp passes etc.

Character Designer

The prospective candidate should have hands on experience in Character Designing, with at least 5yrs experience with a reputed organization. Exposures in realistic project(s) would be an added advantage. This opening is also available for freelancers

Story Board Artist

The prospective candidate should have hands on experience as a Story Board Artist, with at least 5yrs experience with a reputed organization.

Story Board Clean-Up Artist

The prospective candidate should have hands on experience as a Clean-Up Artist, with at least 3yrs experience with a reputed organization.

Rigging Lead

The prospective candidate should have hands on experience in Rigging, with at least 5yrs experience with a reputed organization.

Flash Animator

The prospective candidate should have hands on experience in 2D Traditional / Classical Animation, with at least 5 yrs experience with a reputed organization.

Senior Script & Concept Writer 

The prospective candidate should have sound experience of writing script and content in English for animation movie, film, etc. Knowledge of Final Draft would be an added advantage.
